Install an EV charger at home in Skellefteå

Charge your car at home — cheaper than public charging and always fully charged in the morning. We install Zaptec and Charge Amps at a fixed price with the green technology deduction applied directly: three packages, clear prices and an appointment within seven days.

Green technology deduction — 50% applied directly

An EV charger qualifies as green technology: the tax reduction is 50% on both labour and materials, up to SEK 50,000 per person per year. We apply the deduction directly to the price and handle everything with the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) — the prices on the page are what you actually pay. The requirement is that you own your home and have deduction allowance remaining.

Can the house's consumer unit handle an EV charger?

An EV charger works harder than any other appliance in the home and must have its own circuit in the consumer unit. At installation we check the consumer unit, main fuse and cable route. Most houses can accommodate charging without increasing the main fuse — and with load balancing the charger automatically adjusts its charging rate to the house's current total consumption, so the main fuse never becomes a bottleneck.

Which EV charger should I choose?

Zaptec Go is the compact favourite that suits most people — smart, connected and manufactured in Norway for Nordic climates. Zaptec Go 2 adds V2G readiness, a display and MID-certified meter, for those who want to use the EV as a battery for the home. Charge Amps Aura has dual sockets and charges two cars simultaneously — the obvious choice in a two-car household. All three are installed, commissioned and demonstrated before we leave.

Built for the Skellefteå winter

The chargers we install are rated for outdoor use and handle winters well below minus twenty. We route the cable with weather protection and mount on the facade, in the garage or on a post by the driveway — positioned to work with snow clearance and the engine heater. If you live outside town, towards Kåge, Bureå or Boliden, we come there too: travel is included in the fixed price.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost to install an EV charger?

Zaptec Go costs SEK 10,900, Zaptec Go 2 SEK 15,020 and Charge Amps Aura SEK 23,400 — fully installed, with green technology deduction and standard installation included.

How long does installation take?

A standard installation is normally complete in one day and you can charge that same evening. An appointment is available within seven days of booking.

Do I need to upgrade the house's electrics?

Usually not. The charger is configured for the house's conditions, and with load balancing it reduces the charging rate when the house is drawing a lot of power rather than tripping the main fuse. If a new circuit in the consumer unit is needed you get a fixed price for it before work begins.

Is a charging cable included?

Zaptec Go 2 comes with a 22 kW charging cable. Zaptec Go and Charge Amps Aura have Type 2 sockets where you use the car's own cable.
