Install ceiling spotlights in Stockholm

Recessed spotlights give even, shadow-free light that transforms the whole room. We cut the holes, run the cables and install six dimmable spotlights in the same room — at a fixed price with the ROT deduction already applied. Whether it is the kitchen in a flat, the hall in a terraced house or the living room in a detached house, you get a modern lighting scheme without visible fittings, designed around how the room is actually used.

Spotlights in kitchen, hall and living room

The kitchen is the most common room — even working light over the worktops without shadows. In the hall and living room, recessed spots give a calm, modern impression without visible fittings, which suits both the open-plan layout of new builds and the divided rooms of an older Stockholm flat. Add extra spotlights directly in the booking if you need more than six points.

Prefer track spotlights?

In rooms where the ceiling cannot be dropped — or where you want to repoint the light — a ceiling track with directional spotlights is a practical alternative. This is often the solution in flats with concrete floor structures where there is no cavity to conceal the spots in. We install and connect the track at a fixed price; see the price row above.

Dimmable from the start

The spotlight package is delivered dimmable, so you can go from working light to evening ambience with a single turn. Want phone control? We connect Plejd — ask the electrician on site or read more on the Plejd page.

Insulation and vapour barriers in top-floor flats

If you have the top floor with a sloped ceiling or a converted loft there is insulation and a vapour barrier above the plasterboard that must not be punctured carelessly. We use spots rated for installation against insulation and mount in a way that respects the airtight layer — that is the difference between attractive lighting and moisture damage that shows up in a few years. Done correctly the ceiling keeps its function and you get the light.

Old halogen spots? Time for LED

If there are halogen spots with transformers from the 2000s in the ceiling they consume several times more electricity than modern LED spots — and the transformers tend to fail one after another. Common in terraced houses and detached houses from that era. We replace with LED in the existing holes where possible, with more even light and lower consumption as an immediate gain.

Frequently asked questions

Are the six spotlights in the package dimmable?

Yes, the six spots in the package are installed dimmable from the start — working light when you cook, subdued when the evening comes.

Will there be visible damage to the ceiling?

No, the holes are cut with the right tool at the exact dimension and are completely covered by the spots' trim rings. The cabling is run hidden above the ceiling.

Can you install spotlights in a concrete ceiling?

In apartment buildings with concrete floor structures, recessed spots rarely fit — a ceiling track with directional spots is the practical solution there; see the price row above.

Are six spotlights enough for a kitchen?

In a standard-sized kitchen, yes — closer spacing over the worktops and wider over the dining area. Larger kitchens or open-plan layouts, which occur in new-build flats and detached houses, can be supplemented with extra spots directly in the booking.

Warm white or cool white light?

Most people choose warm white around 2,700–3,000 K in living spaces. If you want clearer working light in the kitchen it can go brighter — we help you find the right colour temperature before the spots are ordered.
