Bathroom electrical installation in Stockholm

The bathroom is the most regulated room in the home for electrics — wet zones govern where sockets, lighting and heating may be placed. We handle the complete electrical contract in your bathroom renovation in flats, terraced houses and detached houses in Stockholm, at a fixed price: two visits, ready for the tiler in between.

The wet zones determine — not personal preference

Around shower and bath there are strict rules governing what may be installed and where. Socket placement, spotlights in the right enclosure class and RCD protection on everything — we design the electrics according to the zones so the bathroom passes inspection and the insurance is valid.

Two visits — in step with the build

The first visit we carry out preparatory cable runs while the walls are open. Then the waterproofing and tiles go in — and at the second visit we fit sockets, lighting, the underfloor heating thermostat and the towel rail. We coordinate timing with your carpenter or tiler.

Electrics are our part — plumbing is the plumber's

We do all the electrics in the bathroom. Pipes, floor drain and mixer taps are plumbing work and are not included in the price — but we are used to working side by side with plumbers and are happy to pass on contacts if you do not have one.

The most common electrical mistakes in bathroom renovations

Sockets ending up in the wrong wet zone, underfloor heating tiled in without a resistance measurement log, and lighting in the wrong enclosure class — mistakes hidden behind tiles and discovered only at inspection or an insurance claim, when they are most expensive to correct. With the electrics designed and documented from the start you avoid having to tear anything up afterwards.

The bathrooms in older properties conceal original electrics

When you renovate a bathroom from an older period you often meet the home's first electrical installation: unearthed points, no RCD and a circuit layout not designed for underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. The renovation is the right moment to bring the electrics up to current standards — everything is open anyway, and the extra cost is small compared with doing it again later.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get documentation of the electrical installation?

Yes, the installation is documented and the underfloor heating is measured with a log — evidence that both building inspectors and insurers may ask for.

Can I have a socket near the shower?

The wet zones govern: closest to the shower and bath, sockets are not permitted, but outside the zones it is fine. We position the points so the bathroom is both practical and approved.

Are underfloor heating and a heated towel rail included in the price?

Connecting them is included in the electrical contract when they are part of the project — the towel rail and heating mat you buy yourself. The number of points is confirmed before a fixed price is given.

Does the mirror cabinet need its own connection?

Yes, a mirror cabinet with lighting, socket and anti-fog function is permanently connected and planned as a dedicated point — one of the most common additions when the bathroom electrics are designed.
