Having an EV charger installed by us? For the charging to be safe and never trip your main fuse, the charger needs to be able to read your electricity meter. It takes about 5 minutes to prepare. Follow the steps below.
Take a photo
Photograph your electricity meter
Take a clear straight-on photo of the whole meter in good lighting.
Make sure the model name and type plate are visible (e.g. "Aidon 6534").
Also take a close-up photo of the ports at the bottom of the meter.
Upload the photos directly below.
Upload your photos here
Enter your name and phone number so we can link the photos to you.
Why? The photo means we can immediately see which meter you have and which solution is right for it. That saves you unnecessary extra visits.
A short call
Ask your network operator to prepare the meter
Contact your electricity network operator and ask them which preparation is needed for your meter. It only takes a minute.
I am going to install an EV charger and would like to prepare my electricity meter.
What do you need from me to enable the meter interface for load balancing?
Can you confirm whether my meter needs an activation or any module change?
Good to know: Preparation differs between network operators and meter models. Ask what applies to your meter, then send us the photos if you are unsure. We confirm the right solution before installation.
