The frost guard is a heating element with a thermostat that only activates when the temperature approaches zero. The element is included in the fixed price, installed and connected. Perfect in garages with water supply, pump houses, conservatories and sheds that stand unheated in winter.

The required output depends on the area and insulation: a well-insulated garage often manages on 400–800 W, while a draughty shed or larger conservatory needs more. Most important is the thermostat — a proper frost guard maintains a few degrees above zero without heating unnecessarily. We help you size correctly, and the element is included in the fixed price.
A self-regulating cable gives more heat where the pipe is cold and less where it is already warm, with no external control needed. This makes it ideal along water pipes with varying exposure. Different cable types apply to eaves and gutters — describe the problem in the booking and we will suggest the right solution.
